Description
To begin with, the PF940V2 80% Frame can be cut and drilled with the Polymer80 PF940V2 Jig Kit. Additionally, this jig also offers instructions for creating the modernized PF940V2 (G17) “ATF Compliant/Bridge” 80% Frame.
NOTE: Additional drilling and cutting are needed to finish the modified “Bridge” structure. Also, the introduction of thisframeworkwas a reaction to the ATF’s lone rulemaking.
Included in the Polymer80 PF940V2 Jig are:
- (1) frame jig
- (1) 3mm drill bit
- (1) 4mm drill bit
Required Tools
To cut, sand, and finish your 80% frame, you will also require the following basic tools:
- Handheld Dremel
- Drill Press or Hand Drill
- Metal Burr Bits
- Sandpaper
Does this jig function with additional 80% frames?
No. Only the Polymer80 PF940V2 80% frame and the new “ATF Compliant/Bridge” 80% frame are compatible with the PF940V2 Jig. However, other P80 frames cannot also be used with this jig due to physical dimension differences. The jigs made for Polymer80’s additional frame blanks are available from us:
